Hunting me
I hear the arrows as I wake
Wizzing with angered intentions
Slashing my feathers with success
and pinning the ground to stay
I lift my damaged wings
As red stains the white
Cries the sound of sorrow
As the unexpected hours dawn
Weapons emerge in fleets
As cruel eyes follow from the shadows
Their muscles tightened with envy
And their mouths were built to scorn
Eager to strangle this neck
And taste this lean flesh
Their eyes widen at opportunity
And their arms strike with arrogance
I expected to see the dark
But the dice rolled with luck
And these wings reaced the clouds
As the wind lifed them up
Oh what a chaotic sight
The sins in front of my oasis
Arrogance, jealousy, greed and lust
All that I must and will dodge
So go on and break my wings,
For i will grow another in a second.
