GSA (gay straigt alliance) club?
I’m in the GSA group and right now all we basically do is wear t-shirts promoting acceptance and stuff, but I want to make the club more involved. I wanna actually change stuff. Like maybe the marriage laws in Michigan..I was thinking we could join with other michigan GSA’s and create this movement to help pass a law to make it legal for ALL couples to get married. I’m just wondering if thats legal for a high school GSA group? I was also wondering what other stuff/ activities we could do as a club to make it both fun and effective?
i know there isnt much a chance that it’ll be a sucess, but why not try instead of just sitting around talking about it
its legal for you to do good luck with changing the marriage laws not sure how much success there will be

Go for it!
Volunteer with these people (http://www.michiganequality.org/), or your local Equality organization. Change comes slow but this is a change that is coming.
